A WEEKEND OF SOCIALIZING, RACING EDUCATION EATING & DRINKING.
Friday: arrival and sunset dinner on the beach. - Bus courtesy of Coneys Marine departs at 5:30 - Cocktails (cash bar) at 6:30 - Dinner at 7:00 - Return by Bus 9:00
Saturday: Race or tour the Vanderbilt Museum estate or shop in Northport or sit by the pool. Cocktails [cash bar] 5.30 - 6.30pm; Dinner 7.00pm
Sunday: 8-30 - 11.00am Breakfast buffet, lecture and farewell.

can accommodate as many racing sailboats as attends the weekend.
However, even
if you are not racing your own boat, please consider participating in the
regatta and check Yes on the Rendezvous Registration Form.
Participation is what LISCA is all about! If you are going to race,
please register no later than July 20.

3) LISCA Regatta NON-RACING ACTIVITY
Saturday August 16TH 2008
Visit the Vanderbilt Museum and planetarium in Centerport.
180 Little Neck Road Centerport, New York
$7 Adult, $6 - Senior/Student (Student ID or Age 62+), $3 - Child (under 12)
Includes Estate Grounds Access, Marine Museum Galleries, Mansion Memorial Wing Galleries, Nursery Wing, Mansion Video Tour and Egyptian Mummy, Estate Model Room, Stoll Wing Dioramas, Dinosaur Exhibit. $3 per ticket for an additional Mansion Tour or Planetarium Show.
Approximate times:
- 11.00 AM Meet at the Northport clubhouse.
- Taxi to the museum (Hours 11.30 AM 5.00 PM.)
- 11.30 AM 12.30 PM Arrive, get tickets, preliminary touring
- 12.30 PM 1.00 PM Lunch on the grounds at picnic tables etc. [There is no restaurant on the grounds] Lunch is either, bring your own, or order a deli sandwich from Northport Deli. Northport We will order our lunches on Friday.
- 1.00 PM 3.45 PM Tour grounds
- 3.45 PM Return by taxi to NYC (Newport Yacht Club)

For your information 2007:
The average boat length that docked at the Regatta last year was 38.6 ft. There were a total of 21 boats; there were 12 boats who started the race.
As for LISCA Land Lubbers: There were 8 ladies who had breakfast together at a local diner & 7 who went on to get pampered at the Spa.
For the Friday night dinner at The Field there were 33 adults and 2 children; Saturday night dinner at Captain's Cove there were 69 adults and 3 children; Sunday breakfast, also at Captain's Cove there were 33 adults and 3 children.
