Friends of the Bay Race

Sagamore Yacht Club in Oyster Bay has been sponsoring the Friends of the Bay Race for several years.  This year the Friends of the Bay race will be on June 16, 2007.  It is a YRA LIS sanctioned event with the purpose of raising money for two very important local environmental organizations in Oyster Bay, Friends of the Bay and the Waterfront Center and its fully restored Oyster Sloop, the Christeen.  The after race party is quite a blast and the Christeen will serve as the race committee vessel again.  More info: Bay race

Catalina East Coast Rendezvous

            This document will lay out the costs for dockage for members and non-members of the Mystic Seaport.

            Bob Flemming went searching for confirmation for bridge opening times and found that the bridge now opens at 20 minutes before
                 the hour and that the bridge will open during the noon-hour period. The regulation for the bridge opening can be found here.
